The luck of the Irish is said to bring individuals with some great rewards when it is available and players will be hoping they have it on their side when playing this Finn and the Swirly Spin slot game.
NetEnt’s Irish-themed slot game takes players on an adventure that provides bundles of fun and is well complemented by the cartoon graphics that have been utilised by the industry leading developer.
We loved the theme that they applied whilst doing our Finn and the Swirly Spin game review and we highly recommend reading our guide to find out just how you can enjoy this game as much as we did.
Played on a playing grid that consists of 5×5 with a shape that matches the swirly element to the game’s name, this game does not feature any traditional paylines. Instead, wins are made when at least three matching icons combine in a line, either vertically or horizontally. Any three icons will provide a win.
A spin can happen from as low as €0.10, whilst those that want to play with higher sums of money can place a wager of up to €200 per spin. Those keen to test out the game before using real money are able to do so by checking out the Finn and the Swirly Spin Free Play version available at the top of this page.
NetEnt have provided some traditional features, though, in regards to the way it is played. For example, the ‘Max Bet’ feature allows players to place the €200 max stake via the click of a button. In addition, the regular ‘Autoplay’ function also makes an appearance.
Symbols available on the paytable include stone spades and wooden hearts, clovers, acorns and horseshoes. Five rubies, though, will provide players with the biggest rewards as they have the ability to payout 500x the stake when they appear on the reels.
One of the Finn and the Swirly Spin bonuses that players will notice rather quickly is that this slot game features a cascading reels mechanism. When a win is formed, it will disappear and see all the other symbols fill the empty spaces by moving in a swirling motion.
There are also a number of Wilds in the game and these are formed in the shape of a star. These symbols have the power to substitute all other icons on the paytable to help form winning combinations where possible. They will then destroy the symbols adjacent to the winning combination as well, to help try and build further combos.
The key that is located at the bottom of the grid can be pushed all the way to the keyhole that can be found at the centre of the screen. If this happens, players will then be able to activate the Free Spins feature.
There are four different free spins games that can be unlocked.
- The Star Bar: Players will get seven free spins and will see two or more Wild stars be added to the reels to begin with.
- The Lava Lair: Four keys are needed for this game, which can provide three additional games. Wilds will be replaced by Sticky Wilds, whilst the Dragon Destroy feature will always be active. This feature can destroy a number of icons to create a win if the initial spin does not.
- Golden Pot: 16 keys are needed for this game and two free spins are provided. The Magic Transform feature will transform the low-paying icons into the highest ones.
RTP (return to player)
With a return to player (RTP) rate of 96.62%, it is no wonder why NetEnt’s Finn and the Swirly Spin slot game needs to be played!
